Not always.

Many customers prefer to loose lay their carpet so it can be removed for cleaning or to access hatches and storage areas.

We generally recommend adhesive installation for pontoons, jetties, boat trailers and other permanent applications where movement may occur.

Many customers use existing fixtures, furniture, hatches, edge trims or carpet weight to keep their carpet securely in position.

Where additional support is required, press studs, double-sided carpet tape or selective adhesive application can be used while still allowing future removal if needed.
